Polytek liquid mold rubber and casting plastic are widely used for the replication of image sculptures and the production of handicrafts. The most primitive works are usually carved/carved from clay, wax, or wood, and then rubber molds are cast, brushed, or sprayed onto the original work to capture all details and allow for flexible demolding from the bottom cut and draft.
Various casting materials can be directly poured into these rubber molds, including wax, plastic, gypsum, and concrete. Casting plastics can be easily used to replicate sculptures because they readily accept fillers (such as bronze powder used for cold cast bronze) and dyes that help form a unique appearance. Depending on the selected mold material, the casting process may or may not require release agents.
For casting applications, this rubber mold is a step in the wax loss process, which ultimately forms a mold capable of absorbing heat from molten metal and alloys (such as bronze).
EasyFlo Series - High strength polyurethane plastic parts; Low viscosity and easy to operate, can be demolded in minutes, can be vacuum molded or low-pressure poured. Can be colored, painted, and subjected to secondary processing. After curing, it turns into brown, white, clear amber, or transparent plastic parts; Metal powder can also be added to increase strength and achieve a metallic like appearance
